Author Sparky Wienerdog is a double-cross dachshund-- a long haired/wire haired, and a black and piebald colored. But he's all dachshund. He began his writing career with the book, A Dog's Guide To the Hereafter. When his sister Luna arrived, he decided to document their life together, and Tiny Dog Tales was born.
Actress Luna C. Moondoggie is a dorkie-- a cross between a mini-doxie and a yorkie. She moved into the Haynes family household in June of 2010, when she was just six months old. Now that she is gaining in fame, she hopes to go on the stage and pursue her passion for acting and chicken juggling.
Photographer Max Haynes has been a wienerdog fan since he was a little boy. He loved to curl up with Tina, the family's black dachshund, by the hot air register on chilly mornings. These days, Max lives with his family in Maple Grove, Minnesota and takes pictures and designs web sites. Max has published 21 books, including 12 for children.
